Dear Department of Geography and Environmental Science members,

Welcome back to Hunter College Department of Geography and Environmental Science.  There are few things that are more regular than the start of the school year, a comfort much needed during times of radical change.  

As we ease into the semester, we anticipate that your needs might change also.  Student feedback is important to us.  Please speak with your instructors or send me an email, if you have ideas about how to make the department more welcoming and inclusive.  

We look forward to an excellent school year.  We are planning a year with some new and exciting activities.  For example, we will promote a logo competition for this year’s departmental t-shirts.  Please look-out for that announcement and more.
